UAE Team ADQ has been awarded a Women’s World Tour licence for the upcoming season. The squad has today revealed its jersey, which it says was inspired by the sights of the Emirati sunset.
The team consists of 15 athletes from 8 different countries. The technical leadership and management of the team will be taken over by Rubens Bertogliati, while Fortunato Lacquaniti will be the Sporting Manager.
The average age of the team’s athletes is 25.7 years old, ranging from the most experienced Mavi Garcia, Ursa Pintar, Marta Bastianelli and Eugenia Bujak, to the youngest, the Russian Alena Ivanchenko at 18 years old. New riders to sign with the team are Erica Magnaldi and Sofia Bertizzolo, Safeeya Al Sayegh, the first rider from the UAE on the WorldTour, Linda Zanetti and Maria Novoloskaia.
