Team Jayco AlUla Gears Up For Trofeo Binda

Team Jayco AlUla is gearing up for the Trofeo Alfredo Binda, a one-day WorldTour Classic race on Sunday 19th March.

Rider Ane Santesteban said in preparation for the race, “Trofeo Alfredo Binda is a special race for us as it’s really close to the team service course. I have done this race ten times already, so even if they added a new climb, I know the course so well already. This race is really unpredictable, but we have a strong team for it with different cards and scenarios to play. Unfortunately I had a crash last week during my training, but it didn’t affect my training and shape much. So together with my team, I am ready to fight for the race. I think it will be a really hard race as it is all day up and down.”

Megan Chard, the team’s Sport Director added, “This race is usually pretty aggressive with either a solo breakaway or a rider from a small group that wins, and we look to continue this trend in this year’s addition. We have a team that suits this style of racing very well and we will look forward to taking opportunities whenever we can. Our protected riders are both Ane and Ruby [Roseman-Gannon] who have shown they are in great condition and will be fully backed by a team which is motivated for results.”
