Team Jayco-AlUla has announced its Women’s team for the upcoming and much-anticipated 2023 edition of the Strade Bianche Women in Sienna on Saturday March 4th.
Rider Ane Santesteban said, “I am looking forward to starting the season in this epic race in Tuscany. It will be my first race of the season, but I’ve had a really good preparation for it, everything went as planned. So, I think together with Alex and Ruby we can play our cards for the final. It is always a challenging race because you have to fight so hard for position before every gravel section and lot of things can happen. But also, we have a good team for it and one of our strengths is to be a unit and work together as a team.”
Shawn Clarke, the Team’s Sport Director added, “Ane will be our main rider and the team will ride for her. However, we know Strade Bianche is a very unpredictable race with a lot of variables and so we are very happy to have a strong and versatile team there including Ruby and Georgie who just had a great race weekend in Belgium.”
