Team DSM Going For Gold

Team DSM is in the final stages of preparation for the Amstel Gold Race Féminine, which takes place in the Netherlands on April 16th.

Italy’s Marta Cavalli took the title last year of the Women’s WorldTour race that begins in Maastricht and finishes in Valkenburg. As a Dutch team, Team DSM look forward to the race that marks the start of the closing week of the Classics.

Kelvin Dekker, Team DSM coach said, “The Amstel Gold Race is a special race for us as a Dutch team, but also because it is so close to the Aqua-Step Keep Challenging Center. All of our riders know the region and know all the roads we will race on. We want to go in again with an attacking mindset and use our strong team in the best way possible. Pfeiffer, Juliette and Elise all have good results in similar races this season so we will set them up to do the same here. We aim for the highest possible and see depending on race scenarios what strategy suits us the best to achieve that.”
