Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift

The organisers of the Tour de France, the Amaury Sport Organisation, is launching a new women’s event, the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, in 2022. The UCI Women’s World Tour race will feature 8 stages, with the first edition finishing in Paris on the same day as the final stage of the men’s Tour de France next year.

Zwift will be the presenting partner of the event, having already signed a 4-year agreement, which aims to make the new race the largest event in the women’s calendar.

The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will receive daily live television coverage all over the world. An agreement with the European Broadcasting Union also means that the race will be broadcast on public channels in the largest markets in Europe.

The race route will be revealed on Thursday 14th October 2021 during the Tour de France presentation at the Palais des Congrès de Paris.

World Champion Anna van der Breggen of Team SD Worx: “The Tour de France is the most famous race in cycling and it’s long been a dream for many of us to compete in a women’s Tour de France. I’m hopeful that the race will help us grow our sport even more by providing us with a media platform to take the excitement of women’s cycling to new audiences.”
