Today, the Rocacorba Collective announced its launch. The mission of the collective is to revolutionise indoor e-cycling, and as such is launching with a women’s premier league team, women’s only rides, mixed social rides, weekly workouts, training plans, yoga and pilates classes, Q&As and webinars.
It will be funded through a membership model, removing the restrictions of a transitional sports sponsorship model. The growth of the collective is planned to enable its goals to be achieved: the professionalisation of its premier league riders and staff, creation of community platform, rider development in South Africa, physical community clubhouses, a professional gravel team, and a professional road team.
Community members of the Rocacorba Collective will receive benefits such as women’s only rides, mixed social rides led by the professional team, workout rides and e-racing training plans, e-racing leagues, virtual in-platform and physical team kit, online yoga and pilates classes, partner exclusive offers and discounts, exclusive rates for holidays and training camps at the service course; Rocacorba Cycling in Banyoles, Spain. The Collective hopes that members will thereby improve their health and well-being through social training and racing experiences.

Ashleigh Moolman Pasio, Founder of Rocacorba Collective commented: “Women´s cycling has gained huge momentum through the covid pandemic with Zwift prioritizing equality and I believe this momentum has the potential to revolutionise cycling in general. Women believe in the power of community and with less history and red tape – it allows us to pioneer new ground in the cycling world. My vision with the Rocacorba Collective is to connect the dots in the cycling world and in doing so transform the model to offset the sponsorship requirement of pro teams, grow female participation and build community all at the same time. At Rocacorba Collective – women are our purpose, community is our power and collaboration is our strength.”
Ashleigh Moolman Pasio will be on Zwift for a social ride, which also offers the opportunity to chat with her on Discord with any questions. The details of the ride are as follows:
