Olympic road race champion Anna Kiesenhofer has taken on a new role in the cycling world, joining Dutch squad Team Picnic–PostNL as a trainer.
The Austrian rider, who shocked the world with her stunning solo victory at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, brings a unique blend of academic expertise and elite racing experience to the team. Known for her analytical approach and deep understanding of training science, Kiesenhofer holds a PhD in mathematics and has long been praised for combining intellect with physical performance.
