The newly renamed Lifeplus-Wahoo team has announced its team for 2023. The team almost closed after the loss of a title sponsor but after the last minute signing of holistic wellness company Liefplus, the team was given a new lifeline. The team which started as Drops now enters its eighth season with a renewed energy, focus and line up. The team will be known as Lifeplus – Wahoo for the 2023 and 2024 season. It adds Lifeplus, the leading global, holistic wellness company, alongside long-term partner Wahoo Fitness, the leading endurance athlete fitness technology company.
The team is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s most successful development programmes. The team’s vision is closely aligned to both Lifeplus and Wahoo’s values, it is to create a positive and supportive environment – where riders can develop and reach their true potential, irrespective of age, experience or status. The talented team of 12 world-class riders, race their bikes to empower and inspire others.
The UCI also confirmed the team as one of two Continental teams that gain automatic invitations to all of the races on the Women’s World Tour calendar.
