Joss Lowden’s Hour Record Attempt

On 30 September, Joss Lowden will make an attempt at the Hour Record at the Tissot Velodrome in Grenchen, Switzerland.

The DROPS – Le Col p/b Tempur rider previously won bronze in the team time trial mixed relay at the 2019 World Championships in Yorkshire. This year she won the GC and mountains classification at the Tour de Féminin in the Czech Republic.

The current women’s record for the longest distance covered in one hour is 48.007km, set by Italian Vittoria Bussi on 13 September 2018 in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
