The Dwars door Vlaanderen Women Pro level race will take place this year on March 29th in Belgium. This 11th edition of the Women’s event will cover a course of 114.9 km over eight climbs and seven cobbled sections. Team Jayco AlUla has made the team selection and is gearing up for the challenging race.
Rider and team leader Ruby Roseman-Gannon said ahead of the event, “I’m excited to race Dwars door Vlaanderen again after gaining some valuable experience last year racing the cobble classics and I feel I have stronger legs now this year. I think the team is building momentum and will be ready to fight on the cobbles again.”
Martin Vestby (Sport Director) added, “Dwars door Vlaanderen is a hard and quite a hectic race, it is a kind of dress rehearsal before the classic par excellence, the Tour of Flanders on Sunday.
We have seen a lot of positive things in the team last Sunday in Gent-Wevelgem and we will follow up on that by having Ruby as our leader. She knows the race from last year and she will have a strong and determined team close by. We are quite convinced that we can be able to fight for a top result.”
