Hummus is a popular Middle Eastern spread that is packed with vitamins, minerals and high protein.
Kitchen tools you will need for this recipe:
Food processor & kitchen scales.
400 grams canned chickpeas drained and rinsed
125 grams Greek yoghurt
Half a Tsp finely diced red onion
Juice of half a small lemon
Dash of olive oil
2x Tbsp. Tahini
2 Tsp. Honey
1 Tsp. Apple cider vinegar
1 Tsp. Paprika powder
1 Tsp. Cumin
2 Tsp. Salt & Pepper
In a food processor place all ingredients blend for 1-2 minutes or until combined well and a smooth texture forms.
Place in an airtight container and sore in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Hummus is great with salads, sandwiches, side spreads, and dips.
