Today the Voxwomen team launch the 2022 series of the much followed Voxwomen Cycling Podcast. For 2022 the podcast will take a new direction with the team focusing on stars of the future. The new series entitled Here Comes the Future will feature interviews leading up to the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, and in particular riders who may be seen challenging for the white young rider jersey.
The Here Comes the Future series is empowered by Liv, sponsors of the white jersey of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. Before the Tour, seven young riders will be featured and then during the race itself, Voxwomen will produce a daily podcast from the Tour. This will be a huge boost to the coverage already planned by Voxwomen in what will be a huge stage of development of women’s cycling.
The Here Comes the Future series will be hosted by Hannah Walker. She will be joined in each episode by double World Champion Giorgia Bronzini. The Sports Director of Liv Racing Xstra will chat through her thoughts on one of the Tour de France stages each time. This unique insight will give listeners an in-depth analysis of the race and what to expect in July.
The first episode features Team SD Worx star Niamh Fisher-Black. In her interview Niamh discusses how she got into cycling, sibling rivalry, meeting the riders in Team SD Worx for the first time, having Anna van der Breggen as a Sports Director and her dreams of being on the start line of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. You can listen on all platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon.
