This 34th edition of the Women’s Giro Donne will be full of prestigious commercial and institutional collaborations. For the third consecutive year, the race is organised by Starlight ASD, in partnership with Federciclsmo (FCI) and UCI.
From 30th June to 9th July 24 teams, including 14 World Tour teams, will battle each other during 9 stages on the roads over a fascinating route through Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, Liguria and Sardinia. The race covers a total of approximately 930 km with the ultimate goal of winning one of the coveted category jerseys.
These jerseys, standing out for their high quality and great design, are once again made by Gobik, a Spanish company specialising in cycling clothing and accessories, which once again confirms its technical partnership with Giro Donne.
The pink jersey, the most prestigious in the entire competition, is to be awarded to the leader of the overall GC ranking. This year, the jersey is associated with the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI), which intends to make best use of Giro Donne’s great media potential for the promotion of the Italian women’s cycling scene.
The Pink jersey has been won in the last three editions by two formidable Dutch athletes:

– 2022 Annemiek van Vleuten
The Cyclamen Jersey, assigned to the leader of the general point-based ranking, this year will be in association with Ferrovie dello Stato (Italian State Railways), a brand increasingly focused on sustainability and smart mobility.
This jersey was also recently dominated by Northern sprinters during a three-year period, who conquered this special ranking based on both stage placements and intermediate sprints:

Awarded to the best climber, the Green Jersey is this year sponsored by Scaligera Arredamenti, a young and dynamic company from Veneto operating in the office furniture sector.

The White Jersey is awarded to the best under-23 athlete in the time-based ranking.This year it will bear the brand of Wurth, an iconic partner of cycling and a company focusing on the sale of products for fastening and assembling technology.

Finally, the Blue Jersey is reserved for the best Italian athlete in the time-based ranking, associated again this year with Il Messaggero, a historic Rome-based national newspaper.

Giro Donne’s competition is part of the prestigious UCI Women’s Tour, the highest level of professional cycling in the world, where this Italian stage race appears alongside the Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift and Women’s Vuelta.
