GB Selects 2024 UCI Urban Cycling World Champs Squad

British Cycling has announced the riders selected to represent the Great Britain Cycling Team at the 2024 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships from 17th to 21st December in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Heading up the elite women’s squad will be Sasha Pardoe, who took both the national and European titles earlier this year in her best season so far. Joining her will be up and coming talents Holly Pipe and debutant Elsa Rendall-Todd who placed fourth in her first elite European championships this summer.

Performance Director for the Great Britain Cycling Team Stephen Park CBE said of the event:

“BMX Freestyle Park is a discipline that is growing in popularity and standard year on year and I’m really proud that our athletes are consistently at the forefront of this movement.”

“Our women’s pathway is incredibly promising, with Sasha and Elsa positioned in the top five at this summer’s European championships. They represent the next generation of female BMX riders and it will be exciting to see what they deliver on the world stage – they are definitely ones to watch!”
