European Champs For AG Insurance – Soudal Quick-Step Squads

The European Cycling Championships begin today and the riders of AG Insurance – Soudal Quick-Step are ready to represent their countries. The individual time trials take place today in the stunning surroundings of Wildlands in Emmen, with a unique start in the animal park. The day promises a schedule filled with intense competition. The juniors and under-23 riders will cover a distance of 19.8 kilometres, while the team’s elite female cyclists will face a challenging 28.6 kilometre course.

On Thursday, September 21th, the Mixed Team Relay for juniors will kick off in Emmen, with the teams tackling a challenging 19.2-kilometre route.

U19 Selection:

On Friday, September 22nd, the U23 riders will take on the 108-kilometre road race, starting in Coevorden and featuring five loops after 39.5 kilometres towards the renowned Col du VAM. The route includes local laps, before concluding on this explosive climb.

On Saturday, September 23rd, the elite women will shine, with a challenging 131.3 kilometre race beginning in Meppel and unfolding into five demanding local loops towards the Col du VAM after 62 kilometres.

Finally, on Sunday, September 24th, the road race for junior women will take place on a local circuit comprising five laps, both around and on the challenging Col du VAM. The race will start in Drijber and cover a total distance of 69 kilometres.
