Ceratizit end sponsorship of World Tour team

After a decade of support for women’s professional cycling, the Ceratizit Group has announced that it will conclude its sponsorship of the CERATIZIT Pro Cycling team at the end of the 2025 season. The team was founded in 2014 and has enjoyed remarkable success, achieving  65 road victories, 13 WorldTour wins, 16 world titles on the track, and four Olympic medals.

The team has been home to top riders including Kirsten Wild, Lisa Brennauer, Cedrine Kerbaol, Julie Leth and even Voxwomen’s own Hannah Walker, now turned Television Commentator and Reporter.

The team has been one of the flag bearers for the growth of women’s cycling and it’s distinctive red and blue kit has been largely unchanged since it began as a team, providing the peloton with real stability of presence.

It is unknown what the future holds for the teaM, currently ranked among the top eight in the world. But it known to be actively exploring new sponsorship opportunities for the next UCI Women’s WorldTour license period (2025–2027) and a statement from the team said that it remains firmly committed to continuing its presence at the highest level of women’s professional cycling.

In this current economic climate, competition for sponsorship is fierce but the interest in women’s cycling has grown exponentially and offers real value for rights purchasers. So there is hope that this team will continue. If not, the licence will become available.
