It has been announced that the city of Barcelona will host the official start of La Vuelta Femenina 25 by Carrefour.es on Sunday, May 4th 2025. Following Torrevieja in 2023 and Valencia in 2024, the Catalan capital will be the starting point of the third edition of the race, once again offering a Mediterranean-flavoured beginning.
The streets of Barcelona will once more become the epicentre of world cycling, just two years after hosting the kickoff of La Vuelta 23. In so doing, Barcelona reaffirms its commitment to being a reference point for organising sporting events. After hosting the 2024 America’s Cup, the city is also preparing to welcome the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in 2026 for the first time in its history.
La Vuelta Femenina 25 by Carrefour.es will take place from May 4th to May 10th, 2025. Further details of the route will be revealed in the coming weeks.
